5.4 Our financial transaction providers Stripe Inc. and Paypal Inc. are situated in the United States of America.

Stripe Inc. has subscribed to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework (collectively, “Privacy Shield”). Stripe adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles including the Supplemental Principles, (collectively, the “Privacy Shield Principles”) for Personal Data received from entities in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”) and Switzerland. This Stripe Privacy Shield Policy (“Privacy Shield Policy”) and the Stripe Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describe the privacy practices that we implement for Personal Data received from the EEA or Switzerland in reliance on the Privacy Shield. Paypal Inc. is committed to adequately protecting your information regardless of where the data resides and to providing appropriate protection for your information where such data is transferred outside of the EEA. 6. Retaining and deleting personal data

6.1 This Section 6 sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal data.

6.2 Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.

6.3 We will retain your personal data as follows:

(a) Notification Data will be retained as long as the registration is not annulled or changed in a way that requires deleting the data. You can delete your account in the account settings, unsubscribe from the newsletter via a link on the bottom of each newsletter, or contact us via Email (info@citography.net) to request a removal of your account and its data.

(b) Correspondence Data will be retained as long as the conversation is not clearly finished and the issue, for which the conversation was initiated is not resolved entirely.

(c) Enquiry Data will be retained as long as the enquiry is active.

(d) Transaction Data, which is connected to a purchase will be stored in accordance to Tax Regulations for 6 years and data including name, address, purchased products and purchasing data will be stored 10 years, until product liability requirements are expired. All other transaction data will be deleted as soon they are not needed anymore for reaching the purpose of their collection.

(e) Profile and Account Data will be retained as long as the account / profile registration is not annulled or changed in a way that requires deleting the data. You can delete your account in the account settings or contact us via Email (info@citography.net) to request a removal of your account and its data.

6.4 In some cases it is not possible for us to specify in advance the periods for which your personal data will be retained. In such cases, we will determine the period of retention based on the following criteria:

(a) the period of retention of your personal data will be determined based on reaching the purpose for which they were provided by you.

6.5 Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 6, we may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.
